If you haven't heard about the Lambda School yet, you really should, as its existence and mission touch on some of the really big important questions of our time:
- what is college really for?
- how should higher education be financed?
- how do we re-train people for actual jobs?
- what incentive do colleges have to help people get good jobs?
The Lambda School is an experimental training program that re-trains smart people to become programmers, and charges people after-they-graduate based on how much they make.
Here's a great article from Medium on it.
