This is a 287 piece puzzle of "Layers of Afternoon" by Erin Hanson. This is a split tendril connector puzzle and is kind-of hard: many pieces have almost but not quite exactly the same shape, so be prepared to pay  careful attention to their cut and the art to solve this.  The puzzle design is by Ashley Boyd and includes a modest number of active whimsies. Overall, we think this is "kind-of hard" but not "really hard."

Like all our puzzles, laser-cut from 1/4" thick wood. Packaged in our standard pine wood box. Made in USA.

Review: We just discovered split tendrils when we purchased the Erin Hanson Crystal Grove last month. Loved that puzzle - it is challenging, fun, and beautiful. This puzzle has fewer pieces and they are larger - a great introduction to split tendrils and the color progression makes it easier than expected to put together. Also fun and a beautiful image. Love Erin Hanson as an artist and split tendrils as a puzzle design.

Review: This puzzle is so pretty! We mostly did this one by color. I agree with the description: split tendrils aren't *easy*, and it takes awhile for my brain to adjust, but this one isn't as tough as some.
