Prerequisite for working this puzzle: go to Rolling Pin Donuts in San Bruno and pick up a dozen assorted donuts. Do not eat any on the way home. At home assemble a plate of donuts that approximate those of the puzzle and begin. For every ten pieces connected reward yourself with a bite of donut. Once you are actually working on the donut section eat a whole one after you connect a complete donut.
I just love Eric Joyner and his theme of Robots and Donuts in all these puzzles. Working them is a sugar high even without the donuts.
