This is a 139 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle presenting William Glakens' Cape Cod Pier. Designed by Jef Bambas, this puzzle has themed whimsies and both split tendril and elegant three-prong connectors- if you haven't tried split tendril connectors before, it's a gentle way to try them out. There is an irregular edge. NOTE: The irregular edge is not shown in the image on the box! Overall, this puzzle is average-hard for its piece count compared to our other puzzles.
Like all our puzzles, laser-cut from 1/4" thick wood. Packaged in our small blue box with magnetic clasp. Made in USA.

I have been purchasing small puzzles from Artifact to send my 71 year old mom, and I always try to pick ones with differently-shaped pieces. Well she was intimidated by this one at first but was very proud when she completed it and she said it was a lovely puzzle!

This Puzzle has all the ingredients to be interesting; split tendril shaped pieces and less than distinct painted art work. This could have gone faster for me; I had a few "islands" upside down, after rotating, large areas started fitting together much better. Maybe it is just me but split tendrils are much harder than grid designs. The multi-piece whimsical constructs greatly aid progress. The reason to work on any puzzle is fun. If it is not fun why bother. This puzzle was a lot of fun.
