This is a cheerful and relaxing 166 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle of Henri Matisse 1911 painting of flowers.
The puzzle is average difficulty, with Matisse-themed whimsy pieces and a lazy hand-drawn irregular edge. Puzzle design by puzzle artist Maria Berg.
Like all our puzzles, the pieces are laser-cut from 1/4" thick wood.
Packaged in a small box with a magnetic clasp. Made in USA.

This is a Matisse painting that you have to assemble with lots of Matisse inspired cut pieces: double pleasure of form and content! The upper part is average hard, but the tablecloth is much harder because you enter a realm of pure abstraction where non figurative shapes float in space with no sense of where is up and down, left and right. That put you in a mental state that it is pretty amazing.

Matisse is a favorite, and this puzzle is beautifully designed and made. Corner design is delightful! This is a puzzle I come back to often when I want to relax while at the same time creating something beautiful.

This puzzle was very deceptive. We had ordered it as a present for my mother since it was supposedly an "easier" puzzle. Among all of the Artifact Puzzles we have ever completed (I think we had done three or four at this point), this was by far the most challenging one. In fact, we were unable to complete it.
