This is a 232 piece Ecru wooden jigsaw puzzle of "Lemons" by Jacob van Hulsdonck. Our Ecru puzzles line is characterized by a closer cut and a matte finish to reduce glare. The still life painting includes not only lemons but also oranges and a pomegranate, and the puzzle design by Jef-Bambas is composed of mini-hex puzzle pieces and a few whimsies. This is a somewhat hard puzzle. Like all our puzzles, made of 1/4" thick laser-cut wood and made in the USA. Packaged in our standard pine wood box.

Review: It's always cool discovering a new piece shape and pulling this one out of the box, the subtle variance in color palette and piece shape made for a fun new kind of challenge in putting it together. This is one of the few pieces of classic art I've done in Artifact puzzles. Definitely more fun than the cardboard puzzle equivalent! Personally my strategy was the china, then the pomegranate, then the whimsies, then the wood table, then the final black corners. Occasionally you'll hit a situation where something fits but it doesn't look quite right. Trust your insticts.

Review: This is a gorgeous classic, intricately painted and realistic still life. It’s the only hexagonal shapes puzzle I’ve tried and was frustrating and was frustrating in its own way. my partner wasn’t keen on keeping it after piecing it twice, but I like the image so much it’s staying - plus the unique cut pattern. I can just picture doing it with extended family… after Covid… Who appreciate the classic image with unique shapes.

Review: I solved this as a mystery puzzle without peeking and am delighted with the result. It was a fun challenge but not too difficult. It is my first puzzle with hex shaped pieces. I spent about 3 1/2 hours completing it. Highly recommend this one.
