Review: If you think stirring around in the box looking for whimsies is fun, once you have finished your puzzle you’ll be doubly pleased to savor the shapes revealed by puzzle designer, David Figueiras. It seems that each piece has different connectors and while the puzzle has straight borders, the edge pieces aren’t obvious—all the more fun. I normally don’t intentionally look at the picture before solving and found Angie Rees’s Happy Harbor to be a nice challenge. Not too hard, but hard enough. When you’re finished, not only enjoy studying Angie’s painting but be sure to sit back and relish David’s hidden designs.

Review: Lots happening in this puzzle. Colorful buildings and boats. Was more challenging than I expected but a delight to work. There were several multi piece whimseys that I really Enjoyed seeing once flipped over.

Review: This puzzle was a lot of fun. With 281 small detailed pieces, expect this to take a while. One can sort out the buildings, and the boats without difficulty. All four wooden docks look much a like, connect the ships to the buildings using the four docks and seawall. I placed the dark and obscure seawall by shape not color or detail. One problem is the sky and sea are much the same color, so finish the regular edge and you will only have a few random pieces to place. I was done in 4 hours. All the bright colors made this puzzle move right along, I could find the pieces I was looking for without any trouble. I think this is a good puzzle for sharp kids because it is not so dark and obscure to be impossible. I have some sharp tweens in the clan; this puzzle is perfect for them.

Review: Fun puzzle. Lots going on. Beautiful, vibrant colors. No kidding, as I finished this puzzle and surveyed its fantastical themes and whimsies, I imagined that I had been trick or treating, and had received one piece of the puzzle from every house I visited, and this was the result. Great puzzle for a cold Autumn evening. Or two.
