Post-modern puzzles
Post-modernism is a broad philosophical term for moving away from worshiping rationality and towards embracing and reveling in the complexity of how we make sense of our the local irrationality of our lived experiences. Post-modernism nods to old mythologies and stitches them into our contemporary existence with a sense of irony and play. Artistically, it often manifests through copies that derive meaning through being copies (e.g. Andy Warhol's Campbell Soup prints), and in contemporary re-interpretations of ancient ideas. Another common aspect of Pomo (post-modernist) art is it breaks the confines of traditional fine art in subject matter and styling.
