Super cute puzzle! This was my first wooden puzzle. All of the pieces are different, interesting shapes. The colors are vibrant. It is very well crafted and I went online to purchase a second puzzle right away! I think this would make a lovely gift.

I'm also a Mary Oliver fan, but not familiar with that poem--will have to look it up. It makes me like this picture even more, and thus this puzzle. What appealed on a visceral level was the bright colors, and the pony's apparent joy in life. The pieces were a joy to work with, the multiple times I've worked it. I like complex pieces, and this puzzle has enough of them! One reason for doing puzzles is to empty my brain of everything else, which I suspect is one definition of medition, contemplation and prayer.

Thank you to reviewer Sylvia for making the connection with Mary Oliver's poem. I was unaware of that piece of the puzzle. This puzzle is enjoyable and a bargain at the price. I love the style and the texture and the colors. It's another of the Artifact puzzles that makes for a nice companion in times of contemplation and prayer.
