This 246 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle honors Napoleon Bonaparte's triumphant arrival in Venice by boat on 29 November 1807, as painted by Vicenzo Chilone, whose work is often confused with that of the more famous Canaletto.

We've emphasized the painting's themes in the puzzle design with Venice and Napoleon-themed whimsy pieces, a whimsical edge (irregular edge) (not shown here or on the box for maximal surprise, but we'll reveal the whimsical edge here by fall 2024 if you don't like surprises), diverse fancy connectors inspired by Venice, and elegant elongated piece shapes. Overall, the puzzle is of average difficulty for our puzzles. Puzzle design by David Figueiras.

NOTE: The irregular edge is not shown on the box!

The fastest pair in a Fog Town Events speed puzzling contest completed it in 27 minutes!

Like all our puzzles, made of 1/4" thick laser-cut wood and made in the USA.

Packaged in a blue box with a magnetic clasp.

Review: Just wanted to say what a fun top edge this has! Enjoyed the pieces too, they are mostly simple rectangle shapes but with intricate rococo knob connectors. This is one I'll loan-out to friends new to wooden puzzles and get out to do with house guests.
