This 282 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle shows a painting of a hypnotized elephant balancing on a house of cards by Kevin Sloan. The puzzle is a little easy for this piece-count as it has a straight edge and diamond-spades-hearts-and-clubs connectors, as well as a number of themed whimsy puzzle pieces designed by silhouette artist Kathryn Flocken. The puzzle's difficulty is average. Puzzle is made of 1/4" thick wood, and the pieces are laser-cut. Packaged in a pine wood box. Made in USA.

The pieces have tabs shaped like the symbols on playing cards, and there are many circus themed whimsies, including some with multiple pieces. Assembly was fun, but not super challenging.

I have three other artifact puzzles but this was fun. Not as intense as the others but when you are finished stop and look and see what figures you can see. Every artifact puzzle is so challenging but so interesting. Combining pieces to create an animal or person...I enjoy these so much. When the piece is the right one they just drop in so easily...love this company.

This was my very first Artifact Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle. That was over eighty puzzles ago. This one remains one of my favorites. It’s charming. It’s challenging. It’s creative. And, yes, hypnotic.
