Review: There are mountain climber whimsies that are really fun. The sky is a bit more tedious.

Review: So glad I tried a Stumpcraft puzzle. I absolutely loved the experience. The art is beautiful and not diminished at all by the finely detailed cut. The wood is very high quality and I love how the image is printed directly on the wood. I positively glows! It’s hard to believe there are no chipped pieces or even a speck of sawdust in the bottom of the box. The pieces fit snuggly making it easy to assemble in sections and then grasp and lift those sections with fingers instead the usual spatula. I really like hard puzzles and found this one especially difficult. It intimidated a few impatient puzzlers between the holidays which meant that for once I got to do most of the puzzle on my own. I loved that it took several days and that I could work on it while listening to the classical 100 favorites countdown online on WQXR - Bach, Beethoven, Mahler, Mozart, Dvorak - all went nicely with this gorgeous puzzle.

Review: Received this as a gift and the color and shape of the pieces has made this one my new favorite puzzle. There was hidden hikers and animals along with a canoe and lots of other interesting bits. Love this one and highly recommend for anyone who loves the artistic style of the national parks posters/puzzles.
