This 300 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle is a charming painting of an unusual flying machine by Russian neosurrealist Sergey Tyukanov. The pieces are connected with delightful cloud-shaped connectors and feature 15 themed whimsy pieces by silhouette artist Kathryn Flocken (click on the little picture above to see example pieces). This puzzle has a straight edge and average difficulty rating. Like all our puzzles, made with 1/4" thick wood in the USA. Packaged in a pine wood box.

There's something so intriguing about artist Tyukanov's pieces. A friend had shared the Cheshire Cat puzzle which was a challenge and such fun, I decided this should be my next effort ( yes, these Artifact puzzles can be habit-forming!) The image is such fun to examine as it comes together, as the little figures are scattered throughout and there's a great deal of detail in their activity. The flying machine is so unusual itself, one wants to climb aboard and join the adventure! Not one of Artifact's great challenges but one which which is very enjoyable and keeps one's interest for sure.
